What issue are you seeing?

When I run the CLI and only issue a /goal command and then exit the CLI the session does not appear in the session list for codex resume. However restarting the session using the session ID does work.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. start codex
  2. type something like /goal This is a test
  3. when it finishes, exit the CLI
  4. type codex resume
  5. last session does not appear in session list

What is the expected behavior?

codex resume should show all sessions including ones using the /goal command.
