What problem are you trying to solve?

Codex Web has a Code reviews tab, but I could not find a supported way to list those cloud code review tasks from the Codex CLI.

I want to build local tooling that can show currently running Codex Cloud review tasks alongside local review tasks, without depending on private web endpoints.

Current behavior

codex cloud list --json lists regular cloud tasks, but it does not appear to include the code review tasks shown in the Codex Web Code reviews tab.

Known task IDs can be inspected with codex cloud status <task_id>, but there does not seem to be a way to discover or list code review tasks from the CLI.

Desired behavior

Please consider exposing Codex Cloud code review tasks through a supported CLI surface.

Possible shapes:

  • codex cloud reviews list --json
  • codex cloud list --kind review --json
  • codex cloud list --include-reviews --json

The exact command shape is not important to me. The important part is having a supported way to discover review tasks and read their status from local tooling.

Use case

I maintain a local review monitor app and want to show:

  • local review tasks
  • Codex Cloud review tasks
  • running/completed/failed status
  • basic metadata such as title, repository/environment, updated time, and task id

This would let local tools observe Codex Cloud review activity without scraping the web app or calling private endpoints directly.
