What happened?

Simple commands like updating MD files and then doing a commit-and-push take a long time (upwards of 7 minutes each). I believe the context used (38% at the time, with Auto (Gemini 3) models) play a big part in how long gemini CLI takes to perform actions. At the beginning of the conversation things feel a lot more flowy, but as time progresses things get worse and worse.

What did you expect to happen?

A simple commit-and-push command of changes that are already staged should take a matter of seconds, not 7+ minutes.
