When non privileged user, it does not run sudo when updating globally and update fails, must be run from cli with sudo prefixed

very low level and easy workaround, though thought i'd raise since why not

Update codex with unprivileged user using codex and not npm directly

What is the expected behavior?

Maybe run with sudo and prompt for pass?
