First — huge thanks to the Hermes team for building such a solid AI agent framework. The YOLO mode, skill system, and cron scheduling made it possible to build something practical without reinventing the wheel.

What I built: Smart Trade AI

A local-first AI workbench for international trade sales teams (外贸业务员的 AI 助手).

14 B2B skills running on Hermes:

  • Morning briefs (live FX rates, commodity prices, market news + client follow-up reminders)
  • 6-layer client due diligence (email check → WHOIS → sanctions → MX → tech stack → LinkedIn)
  • Cold email generation from client profiles
  • B2B platform diagnostics (Alibaba, Made-in-China)
  • Social media content calendars (LinkedIn/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok)
  • Customs data analysis, document generation, and 7 workday cron automations

Tech: FastAPI + SQLite + vanilla JS SPA, runs on 127.0.0.1, all data stays local.
