Bug Description ubject: Lazarus — open-source security companion for Claude Code (follow-up to prior feedback)

Hi team — following up on a prior feedback submission that @gowode witnessed on GitHub.

Quick update: I open-sourced a security companion for Claude Code called Lazarus today:
https://github.com/IridiumSoftware/lazarus

It includes:

  • Face sentinel using Apple Vision (camera-based identity verification)
  • "Shakespeare mode" — on face mismatch, Claude responds only in Shakespeare quotes until the real owner re-authenticates
  • Network monitoring for AI tool outbound connections
  • Port honeypot with logging
  • A /lazarus custom slash command that ties it all together

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue seems to be a follow-up on a prior feedback submission regarding a security companion for Claude Code, and the provided information does not directly point to a specific bug or fix.

Guidance

  • Review the open-sourced security companion, Lazarus, on GitHub to understand its features and potential integration with Claude Code.
  • Investigate the custom /lazarus slash command to see how it ties together the various security features.
  • Check the network monitoring and port honeypot logging to ensure they are functioning as expected.
  • Consider testing the "Shakespeare mode" to verify its behavior on face mismatch.

Example

No specific code snippet can be provided due to the lack of technical details in the issue.

Notes

The provided information seems to be more of an update or announcement rather than a bug report, making it challenging to offer a direct fix or workaround.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Since there's no clear bug or issue described, it's not possible to recommend a specific fix or upgrade. However, exploring and testing the features of Lazarus as mentioned could help in identifying any potential issues or areas for improvement.
