After 5-10 minutes in a fresh quota session I reach 429 errors. So I've used <10% of my quota but still can't use it because of 429 errors.

After 5-10 minutes in a fresh quota session I reach 429 errors. So I've used <10% of my quota but still can't use it because of 429 errors.

This leaves Gemini CLI 'thinking' for up to an hour with no progress.

The 429 request is only visible in the debug log.

What did you expect to happen?

There should be enough requests available to me so that I can actually use my quota without being stalled. Be notified about 429 errors. Know when I'm likely to reach them.
