What happened?

I asked Gemini CLI to read some pdf and summarize the information. It was able to do the same task last week. Now it is just making information up in summarizing. Total hallucinations.

What did you expect to happen?

I expected it to summarize correctly and more importantly not MAKE things up. Total false!
