Root Cause

Ever since the most recent update, whenever I pass my mouse over the left edge of the codex app window, it causes the menu sidebar to pop up. I keep codex on the far right side of my monitor but don't have it fill the whole monitor, so when I receive the answer to a particular topic and move to continue developing, the popup covers the majority of the chat and prevents me from using it as reference during development. The only workaround is to attempt moving the mouse at light-speed so that the app cannot register the cursor as hovering over the left side of the window. It is extremely frustrating to have to attempt this multiple times in a row because, let's face it, I'm only human and a computer processor is infinitely faster than I will ever be.

Suggestions:

  • allow the "popup" of the menu to be toggled (so that it can be turned off by the user)
  • make it UN-popup when the window loses focus

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Simply open the app in any form of non-full-screen (though preferably with screen space existing past the left edge), and move mouse over the left edge of the app window.

What is the expected behavior?
