Describe the problem/error/question

I have invited a teammate to n8n and she successfully logged in as a member. I'm unable to add her to our shared project, though. She won't appear as an option.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The user is likely experiencing an issue with user visibility or permissions in n8n, preventing them from adding a teammate to a shared project.

Guidance

  • Verify that the teammate's user role and permissions are correctly configured in n8n to ensure they are visible and accessible for project assignments.
  • Check the n8n documentation for any specific settings or configurations related to user management and project sharing.
  • Confirm that the teammate has accepted the invitation and completed any necessary onboarding steps to ensure their account is fully activated.
  • Review the project settings to ensure that the teammate is not already a member or has been removed due to any automated processes like pruning.

Notes

The provided information does not include detailed user management or project settings, so further investigation into n8n's configuration and documentation is necessary to resolve the issue.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: Review and adjust user roles, permissions, and project settings to ensure the teammate is visible and can be added to the shared project.
