Description

In /voice tap mode, the only way to stop recording is to tap the bound key again, which immediately sends the message. There is no action to abort/cancel an in-progress recording.

Repro

  1. Run /voice tap
  2. Tap the push-to-talk key to start recording
  3. Speak, then realize you want to discard
  4. There's no key (escape, ctrl+c, etc.) that stops the recording without also submitting

Expected

A way to cancel/stop recording without sending (e.g. escape to abort, or a separate voice:cancel action exposed to keybindings).
