What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

On Windows Codex desktop, when I toggle the integrated terminal / bottom panel, the bottom panel appears momentarily but immediately disappears again. The toggle action seems to run, but the bottom panel cannot stay open, making the integrated terminal unusable.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open the Codex desktop app on Windows.
  2. Open any thread/workspace.
  3. Toggle the integrated terminal / bottom panel.
  4. Observe that the bottom panel appears briefly, then immediately disappears.
  5. Try toggling it again.

The issue is reproducible across workspaces and appears to affect the bottom panel specifically.

What is the expected behavior?

The integrated terminal / bottom panel should remain open after toggling it, and should only close when I toggle it again or explicitly close it.

    • --disable-gpu --disable-gpu-compositing

The issue persisted after all of the above.

One additional note: the day before this started, I began setting up a Codex connection/link with my phone, but I did not complete that setup. I am not sure whether it is related.
