What issue are you seeing?

Codex desktop bug: annotated browser screenshots appear in the thread, but when I ask Codex to enter Plan Mode and respond to the annotations, the turn can be interrupted/aborted and Codex appears to ignore the annotations. This happened multiple times. Expected behavior: Codex should reliably parse browser diff comments, restate the selected annotations, and produce a plan using those annotations. Actual behavior: the response was aborted or moved on without visibly addressing the annotated screenshot feedback. BUG ID :019ddc7b-7766-7b73-bd88-b8aa76d0722a

What steps can reproduce the bug?

So a couple of things, actually. I don't like that white border line. That's a problem. We can remove that. I want a more glassy finish. And I want this to be attached to the left-side rectangular box. And I have already mentioned to you that the current exit right, or that should be in parallel with the pair one, actually. So it should be aligned to the pair or the box, actually, like the upper box, upside of the box. And the proposed plan should come down to the proposed box so that it says, like, from here we are going to here. That's what I'm trying to make it. Okay. So I think that's not coming in clearly right now. That's one thing.

And second thing is I have already asked you to remove that wording, a huge amount of wording in the downside. Whenever target 374.26 is below current Tesla market price of 391, I asked you to do it like it should be just a few words, like "below target price," something like that, in red. And also it should come right of R1 limit so that, like, it's all in one line. So I want you to make these corrections and come up.

And if possible, like the current exit proposed plan exit right, I want it like it should come out and go in like a sliding window, or like, have you seen that some kind of an arrow will be there and when people click on it, or I can even minimize it? That might be much better, right? So a glassy, a glass kind of window, side window comes and then it comes, pops in back. That's what I'm thinking of.

So I will put you in plan mode, see where things are going off, and fix it, please.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue may be resolved by re-initiating Plan Mode and ensuring that all annotations are properly parsed and addressed by Codex.

Guidance

  • Verify that all annotations are correctly formatted and visible to Codex before initiating Plan Mode.
  • Check the thread for any interruptions or errors that may have caused Codex to abort or ignore the annotations.
  • Ensure that the expected behavior of Codex parsing browser diff comments, restating selected annotations, and producing a plan using those annotations is correctly configured.
  • Review the uploaded thread (019ddc7b-7766-7b73-bd88-b8aa76d0722a) to identify any potential issues or inconsistencies.

Notes

The issue may be specific to the user's configuration or the particular thread being used, and further investigation may be required to determine the root cause.

Recommendation

Apply workaround: re-initiate Plan Mode and carefully review the annotations and thread to ensure that Codex is correctly parsing and addressing all feedback.
