What's Wrong?

I redeemed a Max 5x gift card while my subscription had an overdue invoice. The $100 credit appeared on my Billing page but was never applied to subscription renewal. I paid $80 by card to clear the invoice. The credit then disappeared completely.

Three support tickets submitted — none received a human response:

What Should Happen?

Max 5x gift card should extend subscription by one month as documented. The $100 credit should not disappear without being applied.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have an active Max 5x subscription
  2. Miss a renewal payment (overdue invoice)
  3. Redeem a Max 5x gift card
  4. Observe: credit appears on Billing page but does not apply to the overdue invoice
  5. Pay overdue invoice by card ($80)
  6. Credit disappears from account
