What subscription do you have?

GPT Pro

What platform is your computer?

MacOS

What issue are you seeing?

  1. I can not copy the directory of file tree (only can copy specific file). It means that i can not tell Codex you should attention which dir, and i must open VSCode or Finder to copy path.
  2. The files/dirs during chat ceating can not flush in File Tree. It means that if i want to find these files/dirs, i must scroll up lasting.

extent analysis

TL;DR

The issue can be mitigated by using an alternative method to copy directory paths, such as using the terminal or a third-party tool, until a fix is available.

Guidance

  • The issue seems to be related to the Codex App's file tree functionality, specifically with copying directory paths and refreshing the file list during chat creation.
  • To verify the issue, try copying a directory path using the Codex App's file tree and check if it works as expected.
  • As a temporary workaround, users can use the terminal or a third-party tool to copy directory paths and then paste them into the Codex App.
  • The issue may be specific to the MacOS platform or the GPT Pro subscription, so testing on other platforms or subscriptions could help identify the root cause.

Notes

The issue lacks information about the expected behavior, which makes it difficult to provide a definitive solution. Additionally, the issue may be related to a specific version of the Codex App, so upgrading to a newer version may resolve the issue.

Recommendation

Apply workaround, as there is no clear indication that a fixed version is available, and the workaround can help mitigate the issue until a fix is released.
