Problem or Use Case

Whenever the Hermes background task/process for updating the Hermes agent skills starts after a potentially informative session, there is no indication or basic user interface for informing the user that this background process is has started. Some notification does happen when the background process ends and if a skill or memory has been updated and only then. But it would improve the Hermes user interface and user experience if this information about a background process starting was somehow displayed to the user.

This problem is related to the design and consideration for an "improved background process engine," which an issue brings up. Probably one of many such concerns. So, this wouldn't be a simple fix or feature to add, since the design of the new interface for the user to have with some background processes must be considered for this basic information communication problem.

Proposed Solution

There must somehow be some design consideration for integrating a user interface for background processes like the end of session skill/memory updating processes starting.
