Bug Description

In the Hermes Desktop app, after the device hangs/suspends for a while in a no-network environment, the chat composer (dialog box) and the left sessions panel become unresponsive — clicks and interactions stop working.

However, content inside the current conversation (such as expandable thinking blocks, reasoning details, etc.) remains clickable and functional.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Hermes Desktop app.
  2. Start or open a conversation.
  3. Disconnect the device from the network (or enter a no-network environment).
  4. Leave the app idle / suspend the device for a period of time.
  5. Return to the app and attempt to:
    • Click the chat composer / input box
    • Click items in the left sessions panel
    • Click content inside the current conversation (e.g., thinking blocks)

Expected Behavior

All UI elements should remain interactive after the device resumes from suspension, regardless of network availability.

Actual Behavior

  • The chat composer / dialog box cannot be clicked or typed into.
  • The left sessions panel cannot be interacted with (no response to clicks).
  • Content inside the current conversation (e.g., thinking blocks, reasoning details) can still be clicked and expanded.
