What happened?

After upgrading to Gemini CLI version 0.45.1, the default gemini-3.5-flash was not working anymore and I received a suggestion to revert back to gemini-3.1-pro-preview. I have tried using gemini -m gemini-3.5-flash as well as inside the CLI using /model manage and even setting the version inside the settings. Nothing worked, the same issue has appeared. I have asked Gemini, it checked the code and found the probable issue listed in this screenshot:

In the end, I installed v0.45.0 again and afterwards the gemini-3.5-flash started working again.

What did you expect to happen?

I would have expected the gemini-3.5-flash model to keep working as before the CLI version update.
